Leon House – Minimalist Master
Interior designer Leon House is a master in contemporary minimalism with a dash of luxury. Mainly working on the elite homes south of the river, House is always pushing the boundaries of design through simple and respectful interiors. His designs re-imagine spaces and textures in ambitious and creative ways.
House can sum up his style in two textures: “I adore timber and love the modern silk.”
We sat down with House to ask about some of his latest projects.
What is your signature style and what inspires you?
I am inspired by old architecture I see something amazing in it every time I see or walk trough old homes and buildings I marvel at the attitude and artistic approach in how they designed and used materials and spaces my style hard to say I love all styles I love proportion in any design style I love the cottage farmhouse ceilings mixed in with a modern painted a stainless steel kitchen. I adore timber and love the modern silk Look as well I don’t ever want to be in one style if I can help it.
What advice do you have for clients thinking of engaging with an

Make sure you set rough budgets.
Make sure you give them room to express themselves.
What’s a great lesson learnt along your creative path?
That it’s good to back your instincts as when designing a new concept in design make sure if it’s practical then go with it. Don’t let people put doubt in your way let your mojo swing it always pays off
