David Chipperfield – Minimal Refinement
British Architect Sir David Chipperfield moved to Berlin after rebuilding the Neues Museum.
Chipperfield home and studio are surrounded by a canteen which he designed for locals to meet and congregate. Built of concrete, the house features large windows that overlook both the street and courtyard. Minimal furnishing from Italian icons of the 50s and 60s and two colours compliment the concrete interior.
A true great that presents a diverse portfolio of work and defies the idea of a single signature style. See more of his work: David Chipperfield
