The Beach Club – Chic Bar, Dining & Lounge Experience
The Beach Club at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel is a must experience bar beside the world famous Cottesloe beach. Although not exactly new to the Perth bar scene, the Cottesloe Hotel’s major renovation made such a design statement we couldn’t help but show it off.
Describe the essence of the project in 3 words?
Nostalgic Beach chic.
What are your favourite features of the project?
McDonald Jones influence in creating open elevations, roof structures, gazebo’s, landscape design and wall finishes to allow for different experiences for guests.
A combination of different bars, dining, casual lounging, functions and high top zones allow guests to gravitate to a space that is tailored to their individual wants and needs.
The influence of Hecker Guthrie with 50’s style lounging furniture, feature lighting, greenery and art from American Artist Drew Tyndall.
The spaces openness, views and casual yet sophisticated look and feel.

Rival surf club colour palette’s in wall finishes and artwork.
A mix of spaces to suit different purposes.
A highly interactive kitchen with charcoal grill and rotisserie and state of the art wood fired pizza oven.
A space that transitions seamlessly from beachside chillout spot during the day to a sophisticated, elegant and romantic outdoor night scene.
Depicts the best of Perth’s iconic beach culture and fondness of entertaining outside in the open.
