We spoke to deBretton below about her home and the best features.

What was your design brief and vision you wanted to achieve when building this home?
“I wanted a very contemporary home with and urban influence. I used a lot of greys, whites, charcoals and blacks as the base palette mixing soft champagnes, with golds and brass, glass and tied in the softness throughout with greenery, art work, silk rugs and velvet couches and cushions. The result a mix of hard concrete elements softened with plush comforting finishing’s to create an overall modern, edgy contemporary look that exudes both luxury and comfort”.
What is interesting about this home?
“I have split the home onto three levels all with their own entries. The home can be one big family home or be used on three separate levels;
The top level, being the master penthouse suite, with a huge 10m kitchen, laundry, lounge, dining, home office, powder room, master bedroom and ensuite, balcony, BBQ area and all featuring panoramic views.
The middle floor is a four bedroom, two bathrooms (one ensuite) with kitchen, laundry dining room, lounge with fireplace feature wall and poolside bar and swimming pool all with panoramic views.
The lower floor houses a three-car garage along with a fully self-contained one bedroom apartment for the nanny, guests, grandparents, teenage retreat, home office, home gym, man cave, pool room, home theatre! This multi-purpose room that can suit any need of the family making the home a very flexible space. It contains a master bed with views, dining, kitchen, integrated laundry and bathroom and robe all with panoramic views.
Also, there is a lovely tiered terraced garden to the rear overlooking the river”.
Talk us through the highlights of a day at home?
Morning coffee on the top floor balcony is breathtaking and peaceful taking in the river and city views and gorgeous orange sun rises over the hills.
The middle part of the day is spent lazing in the pool floating on loafers looking over the infinity edge to the passing boats and warming ourselves in the kissing sun with a panoramic river view as the backdrop.
The evening is spent cooking amazing dinners in the huge gourmet kitchen and entertaining with friends in this incredible penthouse space with incredible views over the river to the twinkling lights at night to the city
Tell us some of the best aspects of living in Mosman Park?
It’s peaceful, calm, lots of beautiful river walks and greenery to be enjoyed. The never-ending boats sailing past on the unsurpassable river views with the city in the skyline and the hills on the horizon, it’s Perth’s most spectacularly impressive suburb visually. Then the convenience of being a stone’s throw to Claremont quarter, Cottesloe and the beaches, Fremantle and its restaurants. Everything is on your doors step, leisure activities, shopping, eating out, the river and the beach.
